After Effects Intern

Ambassadors is looking for an After Effects Intern to join our creative team in Amsterdam.

About the role

This internship is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in 2D and 3D After Effects animation. From typography, titles and supers, to basic character animation, scripts, and expressions, you’ll get exposure to a wide range of motion design techniques. Our team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of animation and motion graphics through the latest tools, workflows, and creative approaches.

While not essential to the animation role, knowledge and experience with generative AI across platforms for image creation and animation will be a huge advantage. These skills will create opportunities to expand your range of projects and involvement across the board.

You will report to our Executive Creative Director and work alongside a team of creatives, 2D and 3D animators, compositors and editors in an integrated workflow, gaining practical experience on real projects and contributing to the creation of high-quality motion graphics.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has some experience in After Effects and motion graphics
• Is eager to learn 2D and 3D animation techniques
• Has a basic understanding of scripts, expressions, or dynamic animation (helpful but not required)
• Has knowledge of, experience with, or strong interest in generative AI and agentic AI — this is a major advantage
• Is motivated to grow their skills and contribute to creative projects
• Has basic familiarity with graphic design or illustration (a plus)
• Is fluent in English
• Can work collaboratively in a team and follow guidance from senior designers
• Is organized, proactive, and able to manage tasks under supervision
• Is motivated to initiate personal or internal studio projects
• Graphic design, image searching and deck-building skills are a big plus
