Music Production Intern
Ambassadors is looking for a Music Production Intern to join our team in Amsterdam.
About the role
This internship is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in music production and sonic branding. From composing and writing music, to researching artists and campaigns, building out our music library, and contributing to sonic branding projects, you’ll get exposure to a wide range of creative and strategic music work. Our team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of sound and music through thoughtful composition, diverse influences, and innovative approaches.
You will report to our Executive Creative Director and work alongside a team of composers, sound designers, Music Supervisors and creatives in an integrated workflow, gaining practical experience on real projects and contributing to high-quality music and sonic branding work.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is currently studying at a conservatory, HKU, Rock Academy, or a comparable music study, in their 3rd or 4th year
- Has been composing music for 7 years or more
- Has been playing an instrument for 7 years or more (guitar is a big plus)
- Has full-time availability (40 hours per week, spread over 5 days) and is fully on-site (100% physically present, non-remote)
- Has a background in acoustic, classical, cinematic, or hybrid (electronic and acoustic) music composition. We are not looking for someone focused on electronic music only
- Is fluent in English
- Can work collaboratively in a team and handle feedback
- Is organized, proactive, and able to manage tasks under supervision
- Has research skills and can think strategically
