Senior VFX / AI Artist

About the role

As we continue to grow, we are building a strong in-house team in Berlin. You will help lead projects, define workflows, and set the creative and technical standards for our VFX / AI work. The role requires a unique combination of artistic vision, technical expertise, and curiosity for emerging technologies.

As a Senior VFX / AI Artist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of hybrid AI and VFX production within our studio.

What you will do

• Create high-end AI-driven and traditional VFX work for commercial projects.
• Develop and optimize AI workflows within professional VFX pipelines.
• Combine AI tools with established VFX techniques to deliver innovative creative solutions.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, artists, and technical specialists throughout the production process.
• Take ownership of creative and technical challenges from concept through final delivery.
• Help shape future VFX / AI workflows at Ambassadors Berlin.
• Support and guide other artists and freelancers when needed
• Contribute to building a strong and collaborative in-house team.

About you

• You have extensive experience working in VFX, with a strong understanding of professional production workflows.
• You have experience working with AI tools and AI-based creative workflows.
• You operate at a senior artist or supervisor level.
• You combine strong creative skills with technical problem-solving abilities.
• You have experience leading projects or mentoring other artists.
• You understand the quality standards and processes of high-end commercial production.
• You are curious about new tools, technologies, and ways of working.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate well within multidisciplinary teams.
• Client-facing experience is a plus.
• German language skills are a plus.
• You are fluent in English.
