To launch AH Care, a completely new self-care line with over 300 products, Albert Heijn needed a full campaign world before any physical product existed. Care bridges the worlds of food and personal care, turning familiar ingredients like mint, cherry, and sage into sensory experiences for the body. The world needed to feel luxurious yet accessible, modern yet natural.
Together with Albert Heijn, Ambassadors built a hybrid production process that blended AI and traditional craft, with design, CG, VFX, and AI teams working side by side to create one cohesive world across film, key visuals, and e-commerce.
The unique challenge was to create hundreds of organic ingredients for stills and moving images without shooting a single photograph. Every Care bottle was built entirely in 3D from scratch, and AI was used to generate endless variations of fruits, herbs, and ingredient explosions.
“AI can help us create photoreal images of natural ingredients- but we never rely on it for design and composition. Everything is generated in specific shapes and lighting techniques, then cut out and crafted by designers for perfect composition, flow, and balance.”- Justin Blyth, ECD
The key visuals became the foundation for every other part of the campaign. The CG bottles were placed into AI-generated environments like bathrooms, kitchens, and lifestyle scenes, creating a flexible, cohesive world before any product hit the shelves.
The TVC brought that world to life through live-action, enhanced with AI-generated motion and ingredient explosions.
“It’s a very exciting time for us, the tools we use are evolving so fast, they’re constantly changing how we work and what’s possible. Some tools didn’t even exist when we started this project, and new ones kept launching mid-process. Every project becomes an opportunity to find the right mix of tools to push creativity further and get the best results.” – Stijn Waterman, VFX Supervisor
A huge thank you to Albert Heijn for the trust and forward-thinking spirit that made this project possible 💙
